Concept

Black Island Label, operated and manufactured in Bali, was an international clothing brand inspired by untamed women and island vibes. Their unique selling point was raw gems, pure silk, and premium leather, all produced by artisans trained in tie-dye techniques and art prints. Everything was made locally in Indonesia to support local artisan tradition, providing a new vision from the creator of high-quality patterns and finishes.

Black Island called on Wet Laundry to build its profile from the ground up, including implementing their website, search engine optimization, logos, designs, and social media profiles. Read below to see how we managed to build the Black Island profile from scratch.

Social Media + Web

We open social media accounts on Facebook, Instagram and Google. In less than 6 months, we grew Black Island’s Instagram to 10,000 followers and implemented online marketing campaigns to drive traffic to their website.

Thanks to our efforts, we were able to convert 75% of sales directly from Instagram.

Marketing de Personas Influyentes

Using our network of influencers, we were able to launch campaigns with key performance indicators such as increasing brand awareness, boosting web traffic, and generating new content for social pages.

By leveraging content creators, we marketed to the brand’s ideal audience across different channels, which allowed us to expand their reach through their buyer personas.

Online Communication

With each new season, a new collection began, where we had to push our creative limits to create online designs and flyers that visually represented the new collection.

We also created mini clips for each collection that was released, which were then broken down into small teasers for pre-release and promotional use before the big reveal.

Evolution

Our objective was to build a strong community of online shoppers by implementing influencer marketing and campaigns. We aimed to create 10,000 followers on Instagram in 6 months and launch 3 collections over the course of 1 year, all while keeping the content clean, fresh, and original. We faced challenges in creating sophisticated and mature content, but at the same time, we used attractive trends in the fashion world. The result speaks for itself…
